While ZHIPL is a new company, it has roots that go back over 38 years at our facility in Zakir Hussain.

Outfitted with comprehensive computer numerical control (“CNCâ€) and cutting-edge paint equipment, ZHIPL provides up to 30,000 tons of fabricated structural steel for simple and complex bridge or heavy steel fabrication projects throughout the India on an annual basis.

In 1997, Z H Industries was entrusted with a challenging task that tested the very limits of engineering precision and human resilience. A 100-meter bridge needed to be completed within two months to ensure the safety of pilgrims attending the annual Yatra in the Pahalgam Valley. This mission was not just about meeting a deadline, it was about safeguarding lives in a region where nature’s elements posed formidable challenges.
The bridge was to be erected over the Lidder River, known for its treacherous currents and high-speed flow. The location made the project perilous, demanding exceptional planning, unparalleled expertise, and meticulous execution. Under the visionary leadership of our Managing Director, Z H Industries not only rose to the occasion but exceeded expectations by completing the project in a record-breaking 30 days.
This monumental feat was made possible by years of experience and the unwavering dedication of the entire team. From design and fabrication to erection and inauguration, every phase was executed with precision and efficiency. The success of this project stands as a testament to the extraordinary teamwork, planning, and execution capabilities of Z H Industries.
The significance of this achievement was acknowledged at the highest levels. The then Chief Minister personally commended Z H Industries for accomplishing such critical work in an impossibly short timeframe. This bridge, a lifeline for pilgrims, became a symbol of ingenuity and commitment, reinforcing Z H Industries’ reputation as a leader in steel fabrication and infrastructure solutions.
Even today, the Langanbal bridge serves as a reminder of what can be achieved through expertise, determination, and the will to overcome challenges.
